Electrical Technician Position 

Renu Energy Solutions is currently looking to hire an Electrical Technician in our Charlotte, NC office. Responsibilities:

• Assist electrical team lead in the installation of solar PV and energy storage systems;
• Install solar PV system components and complete assigned tasks from start to finish;
• Assist other crew members as necessary;
• Follow electrical line diagrams and equipment specifications to install high quality photovoltaic (PV) systems correctly and in an efficient manner;
• Adhere to project designs, requirements and best practices to ensure quality and code compliance;
• Maintain an organized work truck and maintain tools/equipment;
• Maintain truck inventory and assist with stocking and procurement;
• Upgrade existing electrical equipment and services on residential and commercial job sites;
• Assist with PV installations and rooftop work as necessary.

Responsibilities – Customer Relations:

• Provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction with clients; 
• Keep client informed of project milestones;
• Work with the operations team to receive and provide project updates to customers;
• Work with the field manager and operations supervisor on scheduling all solar and battery installations.

Necessary Skills:

• Desire to succeed in the renewable energy industry while building a career with a regional solar leader
• Ability to work atypical weekly work schedules
• Valid state issued driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces safely
• General knowledge of home construction, building materials, workplace safety, fall protection, and OSHA standards
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly growing business environment
• Clean criminal background check, and driving record
