Renu did a great job on our solar and battery install today. Mark, Joey, and Austin on rooftop were very professional and went over all of the steps of the install and what to expect afterwards. Elijah, Ben, and Owen on electrical were also professional and very accommodating to our conduit runs being installed. An excellent, beginning to end experience with Renu Energy helping us consider, design, install, and trouble-shoot our home solar and battery solution.  Every part of the entire process was extremely smooth, professional, and easy, including their bending over backwards to troubleshoot why one particular part of the installed system (one of the two batteries) didn't initially work.

The designer patiently walked us through multiple sets of estimates and design proposals for all kinds of tradeoffs in terms of system size vs cost. They never pressured us to buy anything extra, but instead let us understand what every choice we could get added (and cost). The initial site inspection was simple and easy. They took care of the permitting, utility connection, and city inspection process seamlessly - all we had to do was sign stuff and let people in the house. The installation team was fast, polite, on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were careful with our home.

When one of the two batteries didn't initially talk with the system, Renu coordinated successive series of Renu (and manufacturer) technical teams to come by and debug the system, ultimately coordinating a complete warranty replacement of the battery stacks. The system has worked flawlessly (including in blackouts) ever since, exactly as advertised.

Overall, it was as easy and simple a process for a massive technical home improvement process as you can possibly imagine. I would absolutely recommend Renu to anyone who wants to install home solar. The staff at Renu is the best around. Our main contact was with Nich Boles. From day one he helped us with everything. All of the 21 questions we came up with he was on it.

The operations team stayed in-touch during the whole process. They helped us get our main panel upgraded to support the 30 panels and micro inverters we were getting.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Renu Energy Solutions. They were prompt to get in touch with me upon my initial inquiry. Bill Winker was thorough in explaining what Renu could offer as well as willing and eager to answer my myriad questions. Megan Price, who was my point of contact throughout, was quick to respond to any/all questions that I had and always followed up when needed. Justin and his team that installed my solar panels and batter were on time and gave me a heads up of their arrival each time. I can’t say enough good things about Renu! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking into solar. I compared with a few other companies and they were hands down the best! Joe (sales consultant) and Megan (project manager) are great! I was able to work with them and make a few tweaks to the layout to get the best array that worked for my house. I was also very impressed with the install crew, all employees of Renu and not subcontracted! My only regret is not getting a larger battery, but with the Enphase system they recommended I will be able to add more storage onto the existing system in the future. BLUF or TLDR - I highly recommend Renu Energy Solutions; the best contractor I ever hired!

Renu Energy Solutions installed a solar photovoltaic system on my house in August of 2023.  The system was commissioned on September 2.  I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the service Renu provided!  The initial survey, engineering design, installation and documentation was professional, smooth and without hassle. Renu provided all of the required permitting and inspection documentation to the local building authority and utility for the system.  Telephone calls from me were answered promptly and my questions answered fully.  The payment schedule was equitable and sensible.  The area was clean when the installation team left.  Follow up calls are answered promptly as well.
