2024 Duke Energy PowerPair℠ Incentive

The Duke Energy PowerPair℠ Incentive provides cash payments and bill credits to North Carolina customers who purchase new rooftop solar + battery backup systems.

Rooftop Solar Incentive

Renu and other Duke Trade Ally’s customers who install a new solar PV system with energy storage can receive up $0.36 per KWac installed, up to $3,600 max from Duke Energy.

Battery Backup Incentive

In addition, Duke Energy will provide $400 per kWh of energy storage in the form of a cash incentive. For example, a Tesla Powerwall 3 has a 13.5 kWh, which could be eligible for a rebate of $5,400!

Monthly Incentive

At Customer’s option, Duke Energy will also pay customers through a bill credit under a battery control program. Duke Energy would be able to control your battery periodically throughout the year.
