Renu’s Covid-19 Commitment

Renu is Committed to Your Safety Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

First, we want everyone to know that Renu Energy Solutions is continuing to provide no obligation solar consultations and installation services during the COVID-19 pandemic and related economic crises, as we are fortunate enough to operate in a way consistent (if not more stringent) with CDC recommendations, as well as the state of North Carolina and South Carolina executive orders.

We also strongly believe that in an economic environment where millions of our fellow citizens are not able to work that we have a duty to contribute to the economic and environmental security of our country.

Renu’s priority is the health and safety of the community, our customers and employees. We are committed to reducing the risk of COVID-19 while still enabling people to go solar, which provides certainty and safety for families during this uncertain time.

Renu’s executive team is ensuring that workforce is following the latest recommendations from public health authorities.

Phone and video solar consultations

While we expect most customers to still prefer in-home consultations, our field sales force can conduct virtual home consultations for customers utilizing video-conferencing technology and electronic signature tools. Should you prefer these options, please let us know.

As digital as possible

Similar to our solar consultations, we have invested in technology to streamline our installation processes, including online permitting and interconnection in many locations, as well as utilizing drone technology to complete rooftop surveys where possible. These tools and processes allow us to keep your project moving without needing regular in-person meetings and reviews. We manage everything for you in the background.

COVID-19 has presented a new and unique challenge, and we’re constantly evaluating best practices for our customers and employees. We’re following public health guidelines and other best practices recommended by medical experts from across the country.

Here are some of the precautions Renu has implemented:

  • Actively engaging with our employees to ensure that no one is conducting installations who shouldn’t be – based on their recent travel, interactions, showing signs of symptoms, etc.
  • Cancelled all business travel and conferences through at least 08/30/2020.
  • Working to ensure that our Renu Team members and partners understand and follow all CDC guidelines and best practices.
  • Encouraging site survey specialists and installers to take proper sanitary measures the entire time they are at your home.
  • Implemented social distancing policies in our office and warehouse such as staggering start times of our installation crews

How you can help during COVID-19

We are also asking our customers to partner with us in preventing transmission. If you are ill or have recently traveled to severely impacted areas, we will happily accommodate you to virtual conduct your solar consultation to occur virtually, or rescheduling an installation or site visit when necessary.

During these difficult and challenging times, we are reminded of how important it is to take the steps necessary to safeguard ourselves, our community and our families. Distributed energy production through rooftop and on-site solar energy production has never been more important.
